Choose a level surface with clearance around the wings, chimneys and rear propeller. Allow enough height to lift off the upper house, and keep the USB cable clear of the mechanism.

• Test the electronics before building around them. Connect the LEDs, motor and music components as shown in the guide and check their controls while everything is accessible. Disconnect power before adjusting a connection.
• Keep parts grouped by the current step. Release pieces from the numbered boards only as needed. Keep small gears, spacers and similar-looking links in labelled trays so you can trace them back to the correct diagram.
• Test each link before adding the next layer. Check gear and spacer orientation, then test the section as directed before fitting more walls. If movement is stiff or uneven, stop and check the alignment instead of forcing the drive.
• Protect the moving clearances. Keep wires and adhesive clear of gears, wing joints and other moving connections. Use lubrication only where the manual specifies it, and repeat the movement check before enclosing a section.
• Match the roof and chimney direction carefully. Dry-fit adjoining walls, roofs and pipes before fixing them. Check which face points outward and which pieces need to pass through later so the castle’s crowded upper structure remains accessible.
• Support the base during final assembly. Fit the upper buildings on a level work surface, supporting the model at its base. Keep fingers clear of moving parts during testing, and disconnect power before removing the top house.
