The finished hall measures 9.06 × 6.69 × 9.06 in (L × W × H). An open shelf or desk gives the staircase, balconies and piano area space to be seen from more than one angle.

• Test the lights before building. Connect the lighting as shown in the guide and check the touch control before fitting it into the scene. Switch off before adjusting connections, then test again before enclosing the wiring.
• Keep the numbered boards beside you. Release only the pieces needed for the current step. Put loose parts in a labelled tray and keep the board frames until the build is finished so numbers remain easy to trace.
• Check stair and balcony supports before gluing. Dry-fit each connected structural group on a level surface. Compare the supports, rail openings and step direction with the guide before fixing them, so the next level meets the previous one squarely.
• Finish hard-to-reach shelves at the right stage. Read ahead before adding nearby balconies or columns. Prepare books in small batches, label their destination and fit shelf contents in the guide’s order while access is clear.
• Give narrow rails and piano parts close support. Release fine wooden parts at their connection points rather than pulling on their ends. Check alignment before pressing tabs into slots, and let glued furniture joints set fully before placing the smaller decorations.
