Set aside a stable surface for the 9.25 × 7.17-inch base and 7.28-inch height. Leave additional clearance for the opening side panels, raised top and acrylic cover so you can reach the whole collection.

• Test the lights before building. Connect the lighting as shown in the guide and check the touch control before fitting it into the scene. Switch off before adjusting connections, then test again before enclosing the wiring.
• Keep the numbered boards beside you. Release only the pieces needed for the current step. Put loose parts in a labelled tray and keep the board frames until the build is finished so numbers remain easy to trace.
• Check the galleries before fixing the surrounding frame. Dry-fit each floor and staircase with the supports shown in the guide. Confirm their front and back faces and keep the wiring routes clear before securing the structure.
• Release the skeleton and railings without bending them. Support delicate pieces beside each remaining connection point. If needed, carefully cut the point from the reverse on a cutting mat, then lift the part gently rather than pulling from an exposed end.
• Route and retest the lights before closing the room. Leave wires in the illustrated channels and away from panel joints. Check the globe and room lights again while their connections are accessible, switching off before any adjustment.
• Keep completed exhibits separate until their installation step. Label the small plane, furniture and other subassemblies and place them in shallow trays. Let adhesive set fully before handling them or adding surrounding parts.
