Choose a level shelf with the theatre facing forward. Keep loose objects outside the stage’s path and leave access to the control and battery compartment.

• Test light, sound and movement before assembly. Connect the components as shown in the guide while the motor and wiring remain accessible. Check each function, then disconnect power before fitting or adjusting parts.
• Keep the numbered boards and small props organised. Release only the parts needed for the current stage. Keep the two sets of furnishings in separate labelled trays so the throne room and dressing room stay easy to identify.
• Dry-fit the rotating platform squarely. Check its position and clearances against the guide before fixing the surrounding floor. If it rubs, switch off and check the alignment rather than forcing it through the obstruction.
• Keep wires outside the moving stage’s path. Use the route shown in the guide and leave room around the rotating parts. Check again after adding scenery so a loose wire cannot catch underneath the platform.
• Support the balcony’s decorative cutwork. Release the thin railing near each connecting point. Fit it with the upper floor supported on a flat surface instead of pressing against the long unsupported edge.
• Check both stage faces before the final test. Let adhesive set before running the mechanism. Watch a complete turn from the front and side, stopping if a gown, prop or trim touches the surrounding theatre.
