Place the model upright with room above the peaked roof and beside the front lamp. A front or angled position shows the reading corner and upper railing together without needing to move the finished scene.

• Test the lights before building. Connect the lighting as shown in the guide and check the touch control before fitting it into the scene. Switch off before adjusting connections, then test again before enclosing the wiring.
• Keep the numbered boards beside you. Release only the pieces needed for the current step. Put loose parts in a labelled tray and keep the board frames until the build is finished so numbers remain easy to trace.
• Check the upper floor and railing before fixing them. Dry-fit the adjoining walls and floor, confirming the printed faces and support positions. Complete the lower rear arrangements at the stage shown in the guide before closing access above them.
• Test one book before preparing the whole shelf. Check the cover orientation and fold lines, then make one small book to confirm the method. Continue in manageable groups, keeping the table and chest details separate from the shelf contents.
• Let the chest and chair joints set before furnishing them. Assemble each piece on a flat surface and check its shape against the guide. Add the small objects only when any required adhesive has cured enough for the furniture to be handled safely.
